Basic Forward Bend - Yoga Tutorial for Beginners
The Forward Bend (Sanskit "Uttanasana") is one of the most fundamental postures in Hatha Yoga. Colleen guides beginners through this posture in a step-by-step manner, allowing them to gradually work up to the full pose as their bodies allow. If done properly, this posture provides the following benefits: Calms the brain, reducing anxiety and relieving stress; strengthens the thighs and knees; stretches the hamstrings, calves, and hips; and helps with digestion.
